Problem Note 55365: PROC CALIS might generate incorrect results when the EFFPART option is specified

PROC CALIS produces incorrect results or stops processing with errors under the following conditions:
- Endogenous variables in the model are also used as predictors of other variables, and
- The EFFPART or TOTEFF option is specified in the PROC CALIS statement.
Possible error messages include:
ERROR: Invalid Operation. ERROR: Termination due to Floating Point Exception
To circumvent this problem, use the EFFPART statement instead of specifying the EFFPART or TOTEFF option in the PROC CALIS statement.
A hotfix is planned for this issue.

If you specify the EFFPART or TOTEFF option in PROC CALIS and an endogenous variable is also a predictor of other variables, the procedure either produces incorrect output or terminates with error messages.
