Problem Note 55307: The PREIMAGE and POSTIMAGE style attributes display JPEG images in an incorrect location with ODS PDF
If you use the PREIMAGE or POSTIMAGE style attribute to include a JPEG image in a PDF file created with ODS, the image might be placed at an incorrect location at the top of the page.
To circumvent the problem, use a PNG version of the image file instead of JPEG.
