Usage Note 55229: How to add an analysis task in SAS® Risk Management for Banking
To add an analysis task in SAS Risk Management for Banking, follow these steps:
- Define a new stored process (STP) in metadata with the appropriate properties and prompts.
- Use: System ► Applications ► SASRiskManagementForBanking ► < Component, for example, SAS® Asset and Liability Management (ALM) >
- Ensure that the path refers to where the SAS code is located, typically:
{SASConfig}/Applications/SASRiskManagementForBanking/3.2/source/alm/sasstp
- Map the analysis task to the SAS® Risk Dimensions® project that defines the analysis task.
- You can define a new project, add to the following file, and re-create the environment or re-enrich: {SASConfig}/Applications/SASRiskManagementForBanking/3.2/source/alm/solution_data_mart/env_alm/rmba_create_env.sas
Alternatively, you can use an existing SAS Risk Dimensions project definition. However, in this case, the SAS Risk Dimensions output data sets cannot be viewed from SAS Risk Management for Banking UI because SAS Risk Management for Banking prepares an output directory for the new task under a name of the newly registered stored process, which differs from the one defined in the already existing SAS Risk Dimensions project.
- Associate the SAS Risk Management for Banking analysis task with the project by using the following macro:
{SASConfig}/Applications/SASRiskManagementForBanking/3.2/source/common/ucmacros/rmb_get_projids_by_atype.sas
- Add editors for the analysis task in the UI.
- After you have completed the above steps, restart the Managed Server (the web application server, often Server 8) and log on to the SAS Risk Management for Banking UI. Your additions should be displayed. If the editors for the new task are not displayed, then do the following:
- Clean the cache of the browse.
- Log on again to SAS Risk Management for Banking.
Notes
- Ensure the CONFIGURATION_TYPE_CD, Task ID, and STP Name all contain the same value.
- There is a limited set of editors available for analysis tasks.
