Problem Note 55128: A Stored Process for a business Rule Flow has a memory leak if the stored process is used by multiple users
In SAS® Business Rules Manager, there is a memory leak when a Stored Process for a business Rule Flow is executed by multiple users. The Stored Process Server becomes unusable after it runs for a while.
To work around the problem, follow these steps:
- Open SAS® Management Console.
- Navigate in the SAS Folders view to the folder in which you created the stored
process.
- Locate the stored process in the right-hand panel.
- Right-click and select Properties.
- Click the Execution tab.
- Click the Edit Source Code button.
Scroll to the bottom of the code. A macro call that is similar to this is
displayed:
/* Standard code generation macro call.*/
%brm_rule_flow(
inputtable=work.TEMPLIB,
mapping=work.WB0UDTRY,
filelocation=WTYUVCYQ,
debugcodelocation=,
RuleFire=N
);
Add a THREADCOUNT=1 parameter to this macro. Example:
/* Standard code generation macro call.*/
%brm_rule_flow(
inputtable=work.TEMPLIB,
mapping=work.WB0UDTRY,
filelocation=WTYUVCYQ,
debugcodelocation=,
RuleFire=N,
threadcount=1
);
