Problem Note 54972: Special characters in the name of a Cell or Communication node are not displayed when you use %MASPINIT(XMLSTREAM=MACROVAR NEIGHBOR)

In SAS® Customer Intelligence, you can create a diagram tool by using a stored process with the macro statement %MASPINIT(XMLSTREAM=MACROVAR NEIGHBOR) on the Data tab.

When the node names (for example, Cell or Communication nodes) contain non-English characters, the special characters do not appear in the generated output table. For example, in the following diagram, the Communications node contains German umlaut characters:

When you create the diagram tool using %MASPINIT(XMLSTREAM=MACROVAR NEIGHBOR), the special characters in the node names do not appear in the output table, as shown below:
