The SAS Stored Process Server performs an unnecessary session purge when the server starts. Under some very rare conditions, this behavior might cause the stored process server to stop responding when it attempts to shut down at a later time.

If this problem occurs, traceback information similar to the following appears near the bottom of the stored process server log:
