When you select the Time ID variable in the SAS Forecast Studio New Project Creation wizard, you might receive a warning that is similar to the following:

Unable to detect time interval. WARNING:... 

If this message is displayed, then pre-process your data before trying to create a project. Often, performing the following pre-processing resolves the type of issue you are having:

• Make sure that the data is equally spaced (have a row in the data set for each time value even if data for that time value is missing).
• Remove any duplicates before bringing the data set into SAS Forecast Studio.
