Problem Note 54849: An error occurs when you attempt to connect to a local instance of SAS® Enterprise Guide® using a Citrix published application
When you attempt to connect to a local instance of SAS Enterprise Guide by using a Citrix published application, the following error might occur:
"The 'sas.iomprovider.1' provider is not registered on the local machine"
In a Citrix environment, this error usually indicates that the user profile that launched SAS Enterprise Guide is corrupted.
This problem can also occur in a Citrix load-balanced environment.
Workaround
In both of these circumstances, the Windows profile of the user experiencing the issue must be re-created.
Note: Within a Citrix load-balanced environment, the Windows user profile must be re-created on each server within the Citrix server farm.
