The SAS Object Spawner might intermittently fail with a system abend 201 due to an invalid ECB list reference.

This abend occurs most often after the SAS Object Spawner has been executing for a short time (for example, around 25 minutes). The SAS Object Spawner log file shows messages such as the following:

SAH201999I Server nnnnnnnn (pppp), State, running
SAS Object Spawner Daemon III is being terminated by the operating system
