Usage Note 54765: SAS® 9.4 on a Linux x64 system cannot connect to Sybase IQ version 16 if you are using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Sybase IQ

When connecting to Sybase IQ version 16 with SAS 9.4 on a Linux x64, system, you receive the following error:
ERROR: Could not load /SASFoundation/9.4/sasexe/sassiq (59 images loaded)
ERROR: /dbi/sybase/16.0/IQ-16_0/lib64/libdbodbc12.so: version
`libdbodbc12.so' not found (required by
/tdi/usrlibsas/SASFoundation/9.4/sasexe/sassiq)
ERROR: The SAS/ACCESS Interface to SYBASEIQ cannot be loaded. The SASSIQ
code appendage could not be loaded.
This is caused by the Linux loader not loading a dependency of the major version number that differs from the version number at load time.
To work around this issue, use Sybase IQ version 15.4.
