Problem Note 54627: Incorrect data might occur when you are reading a DB2 DECIMAL data type with an access view descriptor in a z/OS operating environment
When you are using a view descriptor on a DB2 table under z/OS that includes a variable of the DECIMAL data type, the decimal portion of the value might be truncated. For example, a value of 15.23 might become 15.00. This does not occur with explicit pass-through or the LIBNAME engine.
To work around this issue, use the CV2VIEW procedure to create an explicit pass-through view.
