In SAS Marketing Optimization, when you use the Save As window to save a scenario, you might find that the process takes an excessive amount of time to complete. That is, it takes hours rather than minutes. This issue is more likely to occur with scenarios that contain 1000 plus elements.
To reduce the time, SAS Technical Support recommends that you save the scenario by using the Save As window before you make any changes to the original scenario. Once you create the new scenario, then add your changes.
