Problem Note 54523: Recipients might not be able to view the email links in the web view for email
In SAS® Digital Marketing, recipients might not be able to view email links in the web view for emails. This problem occurs when you review broadcast properties after a broadcast is executed in SAS Digital Marketing Studio.
For example, you select the executed broadcast in the list of broadcasts. Then you right-click and select Properties for that broadcast. After you view the properties, even if you do not make any changes, clicking OK to exit causes the issue.
Also, if you make a change (for example, updating the web resources) and click Apply, this action incorrectly updates the XSL file that is located in the ...\content directory to revert to template values. This update changes tracked links so that they use the redir servlet rather than the original (and correct) get servlet. Consequently, the tracked links fail to display the web page when the email recipient clicks the URL.
To work around this issue, avoid making updates to broadcasts that have been executed. Click Cancel to exit the Properties window.
