Problem Note 54511: Previews of SAS® Marketing Automation broadcasts from SAS® Digital Marketing Studio might fail

Previews of SAS Marketing Automation broadcasts from SAS Digital Marketing Studio might fail. This problem occurs with broadcasts that have not been executed.

The problem occurs when you perform the following steps:

  1. Right-click a broadcast from the displayed list in SAS Digital Marketing Studio and select Preview.
  2. Select either a Java database connectivity (JDBC) table or a distribution list.
  3. Select Select Sample Rows and choose the rows that you want to include as your preview.
  4. Click the Finish button.

When you click Finish, the following error is displayed:

The following error has occurred:
Input table is empty

To work around this problem, preview the broadcast from the Edit Content page in SAS Digital Marketing Studio.
