Problem Note 54495: The error ". . .Invalid Password" occurs when you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Aster nCluster
When you use SAS/ACCESS Interface to Aster nCluster to query the Aster database, the following error is generated:
ERROR: CLI error trying to establish connection: [AsterData][nCluster] ERROR:
Invalid Password. ()
In this situation, your LIBNAME statement assigns properly. However, the Aster database expects only case-sensitive user IDs. When you query the database, the SAS® System passes the user ID in lowercase. As a result, the Aster database refuses the connection.
There is no solution or workaround for this problem.
