Usage Note 54351: The autoload process in SAS® Visual Analytics might generate an "insufficient memory" error
In SAS Visual Analytics, autoloading tables into the SAS® LASR™ Analytic Server might generate the following error in the Autoload.log file:
ERROR: Insufficient resources to perform the operation.
The autoload process runs a SAS session directly from SAS® Foundation. In SAS Visual Analytics 6.2, 6.3, and 6.4, this means that you might need to increase the total amount of memory that the SAS® session uses. If you need to increase the total amount of memory that is used for the autoload process, add the MEMSIZE option to the runsas script. The runsas script is located in the autoload scripts directory.
Starting in SAS Visual Analytics 7.1, the SAS session, by default, borrows settings from server configuration files. In Microsoft Windows operating environments, the list of configuration files is in the AutoLoad.cfg file in the autoload scripts directory. In the Linux environment, the list of configuration files is in the SASCFGPATH= variable in the runsas script. If you need to modify the MEMSIZE value, add the option to the AutoLoad_usermods.cfg file.
For information about the MEMSIZE option under Windows, see MEMSIZE System Option: Windows in the SAS® 9.4 Companion for Windows, Third Edition.
For information about the MEMSIZE option under UNIX, see MEMSIZE System Option: UNIX in the SAS® 9.4 Companion for UNIX Environments, Fourth Edition.
