Problem Note 54334: Embedded blanks in LIBNAME statement options for the SASEXFSD, SASEFRED, and SASEQUAN engines might generate errors

When you use the SASEXFSD, SASEFRED, or SASEQUAN LIBNAME engines that are provided with SAS/ETS® software, an error message similar to the following might be generated if values in the LIBNAME statement options or the directory path contain blanks:

ERROR:  An exception has been encountered. 
Please contact technical support and provide them with the following traceback information: 

You might also see the following error message:

ERROR:  Read Access Violation

The LIBNAME engine also fails to access the data when this problem occurs.

To circumvent the problem, specify the option or directory path without the embedded blanks.

Once the hot fix is applied or if all spaces are removed from the LIBNAME statement options, the following warning and error messages might be generated:
 
WARNING: Apparent invocation of macro TSTETSUC not resolved.
ERROR 180-322: Statement is not valid or it is used out of proper order.
WARNING: Apparent invocation of macro FILENAME not resolved.
ERROR 180-322: Statement is not valid or it is used out of proper order.
