Problem Note 54333: An "insufficient memory" error might be generated when you read large XML files with the XMLV2 LIBNAME engine

The following error might be generated when you try to read large XML files using the XMLV2 LIBNAME engine:

ERROR: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of insufficient memory.

The error occurs because the XMLV2 LIBNAME engine might not release memory correctly as it parses the XML file and it eventually runs out of memory.

There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
