Problem Note 54275: You cannot add text above or below the automatic web-link HTML line in SAS® Digital Marketing broadcasts

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Digital Marketing broadcasts, you cannot add text above or below the automatic web-link HTML line. This line is created automatically by the system when you select Include web link in the email HTML content.

In SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio, the web-link HTML line is not displayed on the Edit Content page. You cannot manually add lines of text before, to the left of, or immediately below this line. Because the web-link HTML line is displayed without the email recipient having to open the email, this is an important area in an email message for attractomg the recipient's attention.

In SAS Digital Marketing Studio, the web-link HTML line is displayed, and you can add lines before the web-link line. However, when the recipient receives the email, the new lines are incorrectly positioned—two lines are below the web-link line.

To work around this issue, create an XSL variable and use it within the HTML to generate your own web link. Contact SAS Technical Support for more information about how to create and use an XSL variable.
