Problem Note 54215: PROC HPLOGISTIC fails with messages about insufficient memory and resources
The HPLOGISTIC procedure might fail with messages about insufficient memory and insufficient resources when the input file is a .sashdat file and a user-defined format is also specified.
Error messages similar to the following appear in the SAS log file:
ERROR: Insufficient memory
Message from node testserver01, Thu Sep 18 10:08:04 2014, user test_user, pid 24211:

Message from node testserver02, Thu Sep 18 10:08:04 2014, user test_user, pid 10218:

ERROR: The final attempt to recover communication with the compute environment has failed.
Note that these error messages might indicate a legitimate memory or resource issue.
However, if the input file for PROC HPLOGISITIC is a .sashdat file, a user-defined format is used on the data, and the SAS® High-Performance Analytics environment is not under a heavy load, these errors indicate that the problem is caused by the issue described in this note.
