DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The SVC11SCREEN system option does not work in SAS 9.4. Sites that use SVC 11 (TIME macro) screener products for testing within SAS 9.4 see messages similar to the following in the SASCLOG output:

If the product sets the date to a date prior to the BIRTHDAY= value in your SAS SETINIT, the following message is generated:

ERROR: The current date of Wednesday, January 1, 2014 is before the SAS
ERROR: system birthdate of Monday, June 16, 2014. Ensure that your system's
ERROR: current date is correct and that you are running the appropriate
ERROR: release of the SAS System.
ERROR: Initialization of setinit information from SASHELP failed.
NOTE: Unable to initialize the options subsystem.
ERROR: (SASXKINI): PHASE 3 KERNEL INITIALIZATION FAILED.
ERROR: Unable to initialize the SAS kernel.

If the product sets the date to a date later than the final expiration date (SETINIT EXPIRE= plus the sum of GRACE= and WARNING=), the following message is generated:

ERROR: The current date of Friday, January 1, 2016 is past the final
ERROR: expiration date for your SAS system, which is Tuesday, December 1,
ERROR: 2015. Please contact your SAS Installation Representative to obtain
ERROR: your updated SAS Installation Data (SID) file, which includes SETINIT
ERROR: information.
ERROR: Initialization of setinit information from SASHELP failed.
