If a SAS^® Customer Intelligence environment is configured so that the SAS Shared Services database is hosted on a third-party database, an incorrect testQuery will be run against the SAS^® Web Infrastructure Platform Data Server (Postgres) database. As a result, the SAS^® Customer Intelligence Studio and the SAS Customer Intelligence utilities will fail and multiple errors that are similar to the following are written to the webinfdsvrc-yyyy-mm-dd_hhnnss.log:

EDTERROR: relation "dual" does not exist at character
EDTSTATEMENT: select 1 from dual

The following message also appears in the same log:

Follow these steps to resolve this issue:

1. Edit the server.xml file in the location SAS-Configuration-Directory/Lev1/Web/WebAppServer/SASServer6_1/conf/.
2. Find the resource definition for sas/jdbc/CI_Services and edit the span style="font-family:monospace;">testQuery value as follows:
   testQuery="select 1"
3. Restart SASServer6 and the SAS Web Infrastructure Platform Data Server after you make the changes.
