Problem Note 54101: An invalid SAS® name is shown for a DBCS table name when you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC in the DBCS version of SAS® software
When you use the double-byte character set (DBCS) version of SAS software with SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC, this error occurs when a DBCS table name is referenced:
Error: Value "DBCS characters'n" is not valid SAS name.
The error occurs because the DBCS version of SAS does not properly handle the transcoding of the table name. There is no workaround for this problem.
