When you use custom details in the Select nodes in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio 6.3, counts mightbe incorrect if you modify the value of a custom detail.

For example, in the following display, the Select node (1) Credit Sub Business is using a custom detail value:

If a node that has a reference to the custom detail value is counted directly or is opened, then the correct count is returned for all downstream nodes. However, if you modify the custom detail value, you are not prompted to also modify nodes that reference that custom detail value. As a result, incorrect counts are returned, sometimes as 0 counts or sometimes as old counts.

Note: After you apply the hot fix, if you use plan to use custom details in a Select node, you need to select Produce counts for all nodes when executing in the campaign properties. If you do not select this option, incorrect counts might still be produced.
