SAS® BI Dashboard enables you to pass parameters when linking from one dashboard to another dashboard. To create this link, the target dashboard must have a prompt indicator to receive the passed parameter. If the interactions on that prompt indicator use the option to Filter data on the remote system, then the initial display of the prompt might not reflect the value that was passed from the source dashboard. This issue occurs even though the targets of the interaction from the prompt display correctly filtered data. However, the behavior is confusing because the prompt indicator does not accurately reflect the value that was passed and applied to the other indicators.
