Problem Note 54014: Using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Greenplum to bulk load data might report incorrect results
When you use SAS/ACCESS Interface to Greenplum to bulk load data, SAS® might incorrectly report that all the data was successfully loaded into the Greenplum table. The inaccurate output message in the SAS log might look like this:
NOTE: There were 200 observations read from the data set WORK.MYLOCALDATA.
NOTE: The data set MYGP.BULKDATA has 200 observations and 3 variables.
The message is inaccurate because, in fact, not all of the data was successfully loaded. Some of the data might have been placed into the reject table specified by your bulk-load syntax. An accurate message appears in the Greenplum log:
"WARNING","40M01","The error table was created in the same transaction as this operation.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you apply the hot fix, if some rows have been put into the reject table in Greenplum, the SAS log will indicate that not all of the data has been loaded successfully. In this case, the following message is shown:
ATTENTION: Not all data was loaded successfully!
