Problem Note 54859: Configuring SAS® rich clients with WebSEAL is not supported
The use of SAS rich clients (such as SAS® Workflow Studio, SAS® Forecast Studio, and so on) in an environment where the middle tier is configured for IBM WebSEAL is not supported. This statement applies to all SAS rich clients that are delivered in SAS® 9.4 TS1M0, TS1M1, TS1M2, and TS1M3.
SAS 9.4 TS1Mx rich clients have not been tested with WebSEAL. Furthermore, the IBM WebSEAL support statement (www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21516843) indicates that compatibility issues should be expected with rich clients. Therefore, you should not attempt to use these clients with WebSEAL.
Rich clients that are delivered in SAS® 9.2 (including all maintenance releases) and SAS® 9.3 (including all maintenance releases) are supported with WebSEAL.
