Problem Note 54710: The SAS® IT Resource Management macro %RMRUNETL terminates when an extract/transform/load (ETL) job aborts with a condition code of 4
The SAS IT Resource Management macro %RMRUNETL terminates whenever an ETL job aborts with a condition code of 4. When that happens, The following warning and error messages are issued in the SAS log:
WARNING: Aborting job with a return code of 4
ERROR: Execution canceled by an %ABORT CANCEL statement.
In most cases, it is preferred that a condition code of 4 does not cause an ETL job to terminate.
Currently, there is no solution or workaround for this problem.
A change is planned for a future release of SAS IT Resource Management so that the %RMRUNETL macro will not terminate because of a condition code of 4.
