Problem Note 54397: Several functional issues can occur when you use SAS® Strategy Management 5.6
When you use SAS Strategy Management, you might encounter the following functional issues:
- When you access a SAS Strategy Management data-entry form from the SAS® Information Delivery Portal page and you enter a value with more than three digits to the right of the decimal, the value that is stored in the database after you click the Submit button might be rounded to three significant digits.
- Poor performance might occur when you select Calculate in SAS Strategy Management Builder and the calculation includes daily elements.
- When you export a SAS Strategy Management project that includes a data-entry form, you might find that when the project package is imported, the scorecard's elements are not selected. This problem occurs because the data-entry form's elements are selected automatically when you select the parent scorecard.
- When you create a new rule from the Manage Rules page, a validation error can occur even when expression text is valid. This issue happens when the expression includes both the INPUTVAL and VAL functions.
The validation error appears after you perform these steps:
- After you create the rule on the Manage Rules page, you select the Formula radio button and then click the Advanced Formula button. This selection opens the Advanced Formula Editor dialog box.
- In the dialog box, you click the Validate Expression button.
- The following error can occur when you select Apply Formula from a column's metric attribute menu, define a formula on the Apply a Formula to a Column page, and click OK:
HTTP Status 500 - Servlet execution threw an exception
type Exception report
message Servlet execution threw an exception
description The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from
fulfilling this request.
javax.servlet.ServletException: Servlet execution threw an exception
- When you are a workflow data-entry approver and an assignee submits a data-entry form with no data, you might find that nothing happens when you click the Approve button.
- When you work with a workflow data-entry form, you might not be able to determine workflow status (for example, statuses such as which assignees have entered data and which approvers have approved data).
- When you run the PROJCALC.SAS macro in a Linux environment, the invoked %SENDRQST macro might ignore the default response.
- When you use batch processing to add workflow users, those users might not be available until you restart your web application server.
- In SAS Strategy Management, when you select Project ► Manage Data Entry Forms, the Manage Data Entry Forms page might take a long time to render.
