Problem Note 54170: Risk weight (RW) breakdown in the COREP CR SA report can be incorrect when collateral is used
In SAS® Credit Risk Management for Banking, if collateral is used, the risk weight (RW) can be incorrect in the COREP CR SA report. There are no warnings or errors. The incorrect weight occurs in the following cases:
- If the collateral affects the fully adjusted exposure value (E*).
- If the collateral has a substitution effect on the exposure (E), and hence on the RW.
