Hot Fix P83001 provides resolutions for the following SAS Strategy Management 5.6_M1 deployment issues:

1. SAS Strategy Management fails to deploy when you perform an upgrade in place (UIP) to SAS Strategy Management 5.6_M1. The following error is encountered during the UIP deployment:

   Application Server has started, however web applications with the following contexts failed
   to start.
   
   Please refer to Application Server logs for more details. 
   
   SASStrategyManagement

2. The SAS Strategy Management data-tier configuration results in the warning:

   SAS Strategy Management Data-Tier encountered warnings while importing metadata from
   bmf_transformations.

   In addition, the spmdatatier_importpackage_bmf_transformations.{date}.log at \Lev1\Logs\Configure\ includes warnings similar to the following:

   INFO Loaded localizable properties file
   
   "/SASHome/SASStrategyManagementDataTier/5.6/Config/Deployment/SASPackages/ bmf_transformations_ja.locprop".
   
   WARN  UUID in properties file "bmf_transformations_ja.locprop" does not match package UUID.
   
   INFO Loaded localizable properties file
   
   "/SASHome/SASStrategyManagementDataTier/5.6/Config/Deployment/SASPackages/ bmf_transformations_ko.locprop".
   
   WARN  UUID in properties file "bmf_transformations_ko.locprop" does not match package UUID

3. Users are unable to access Strategy Management Builder and encounter the following error after attempting to log on to the application:

   An error has occurred in the system and the administrator of the application has been notified.
   

4. SAS Strategy Management Enhanced portlets and Performance Data portlets that were previously defined in the SAS^® Information Delivery Portal are missing.
