Problem Note 53596: Printing a SAS® Strategy Management tile as a PDF file from the SAS® Information Delivery Portal results in an unusable PDF document
If you attempt to print a SAS Strategy Management tile as a PDF file from the SAS Information Delivery Portal, the resulting PDF document might not be readable (for example, the columns might be compressed). The root cause of this issue is that the Print algorithm is not honoring the saved layout for SAS Strategy Management tiles. For example, you have a Table View tile, which includes a saved layout, that enables you to read each element name, like this:
You click the Print icon to print the SAS Strategy Management tile to PDF. When the Save As dialog box is presented, the saved layout is no longer honored and elements in the Name column can no longer be read, as shown below:
This results in a PDF document with element names that cannot be read. Although the Table View tile is shown in this example, you could encounter this issue with other SAS Strategy Management tiles (for example, the Association View tile).
