Problem Note 53310: When you try to create a new risk within an assessment in SAS® Enterprise GRC, the new risk screen might not be displayed

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Enterprise GRC, you can create a new risk within an assessment. A new risk screen should be displayed. However, when you try to create a new risk, the new risk screen might not be displayed. The application server log file contains the following message:

Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: Action[/Assessment] does not contain
   specified method (check logs)
	at
   com.sas.oprisk.monitor.web.actions.BaseDispatchAction.dispatchMethod
   (BaseDispatchAction.java:374)
	at org.apache.struts.actions.DispatchAction.execute(DispatchAction.java:170)
	at
   com.sas.oprisk.monitor.web.actions.CustomizableScreenDispatchAction.execute
   (CustomizableScreenDispatchAction.java:47)
	at
   org.apache.struts.action.RequestProcessor.processActionPerform
   (RequestProcessor.java:425)

The new risk screen is not displayed under the following conditions:

  • The workflow for risks is turned off. (For an example of how to turn off the workflow, see SAS Note 53145, "How to disable the workflow for incidents and related items in SAS® Enterprise GRC.")
  • Your application server uses a version of Java supplied by IBM.
