Previewing a SAS Digital Marketing broadcast fails when the Production Recipient is a SAS® Customer Intelligence export and the Design Recipient is a distribution list.
You might see that the following error is displayed:
Preview mail was not sent to the users due to data/server issues
In addition, the following error might occur in the SAS Digital Marketing server_log file:
2014-03-20 13:58:14,504 [ERROR] com.sas.email.server.BulkEmailUtils - Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database! java.sql.SQLException: Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!
