To prevent users from opening certain object types from SAS Home 7.52 and earlier, follow these steps:

1. Log on to SAS^® Management Console as an administrator.
2. From the Plug-ins tab, navigate to Application Management ► Configuration Manager ► SAS Application Infrastructure ► Visual Analytics 7.x.
3. Right-click Visual Analytics Hub 7.x and select Properties.
4. In the Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
5. Click Add to open the Define New Property dialog box.
   1. For the Property Name, enter vah.typesToSuppressCSV
   2. For the Property Value, enter any of the following values, depending on which objects you want to block:

Note: To block more than one object type, separate the object types with a comma. For example, the following entry blocks stored processes, stored process reports, and tables: StoredProcess,Report.StoredProcess,Table

6. Click OK twice to exit both dialog boxes and save the changes.
7. To enforce the new setting, restart your web application server.

When this property is enforced, users cannot open the specified object types from the SAS Visual Analytics home page. If all object types are specified, then users cannot browse at all from the home page.
