Usage Note 53700: Setting Brightcove Ad Policy on single video players in Brightcove
This article shows how to set up Ad Policy in Brightcove with "Single video Players". This will allow you to set the frequency in which the single video player will make an ad call.
NOTE: This only works with video-based policies. Single-player videos do not work with time based policies.
Adserver URL:
The adserver ad request URL will look something like this if you are not using a CNAME to point to the aimatch domain:
http://crtl.aimatch.com/{customername}/lserver/tserver
Substitute your {customer name} and the domain as well if you are using a CNAME.
Ad Policy:
You will need to set your Ad policy exactly like the screenshot below.
Ad Source:
Select "Custom Ad Translator Swf Url" in the dropdown.
The field below is where you now set your frequency. The example below will make an ad call every other video play:
http://content.aimatch.com/sasiaAdTranslator.swf?frequency=2
