Usage Note 53451: The SCD Type 2 Loader does not support DB2 temporary tables
You can use temporary database tables when you are closing out existing records in the target dimension (Update) to improve performance. At this time, DB2 temporary tables are not supported.
If the SCD Type 2 Loader database option Use SQL Passthru is set to Yes and the option Upload library before target table update does not have a value, meaning that the user has not entered an upload library, then temporary database tables are used as source tables to the update and insert process. The settings are shown in the following display:

However, as mentioned above, DB2 temporary tables are not supported at this time.
To circumvent this issue, in the DB2 register, set currentSchema=session. You must also specify the option Use SQL Passthru as Yes on the SCD Type 2 Properties Database Options tab.
