Installation Note 53114: SAS® Rapid Predictive Modeler does not appear in your instance of SAS® Enterprise Guide® or an error is reported when you use Rapid Predictive Modeler
SAS Rapid Predictive Modeler cannot work with either SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS® Add-in for Microsoft Office if SAS® Enterprise Miner™ is not installed within the same environment.
The SAS Rapid Predictive Modeler task uses SAS Enterprise Miner functionality to generate predictive models from SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office. For SAS Rapid Predictive Modeler to work, SAS Enterprise Miner must be licensed and installed in the SAS environment that the client application connects to.
The following error might occur if you try to run SAS Rapid Predictive Modeler but SAS Enterprise Miner is not installed:
You cannot run the Rapid Predictive Modeling component because the SAS enterprise Miner product either is not licensed on this server or the product license has expired.
Use SAS® Installation Reporter to determine what you are licensed for and what you have installed. More information is provided in Usage Note 20390: "The SAS® Installation Reporter program creates a report showing which applications, clients, and hot fixes are installed." The first section of the report describes what licenses you have, and the second section discusses what you have installed.
