The default value for a variable might be missing in the web-view of e-mails that are broadcasted by SAS Digital Marketing.
This problem occurs when the recipient table that holds the variable is held in SAS data sets and the field is of a numeric or date type. If this field is empty, it will have a dot (.) for null. This causes the system to fail to display the default value that has been specified.
