Usage Note 52661: Disabling the network Save button in SAS® Social Network Analysis

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you click the Social Network Analysis tab to view the network that is associated with an alert, the Save button is always enabled. However, there is no option to disable the button.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

After you apply the hot fix, new functionality enables you to disable the Save button for the network. You can add this new property in the application component of SAS® Management Console to disable the Save button for a particular alert series:

<Alert_Series_Name>.Save.Enabled= false

EXAMPLE

Follow these steps to add this property for an alert series that is named "ABC". Navigate to SAS Management Console ► Application Management ► Social Network Analysis. Right-click and select Properties ► Advanced. Add a new parameter: ABC.Save.Enabled=false.

Be sure to save the newly added parameter in SAS Management Console, and then refresh SAS Social Network Analysis Server.
