Problem Note 52645: SASĀ® Pack Optimization might generate different bulk packs for the same SKU
SAS Pack Optimization might generate different bulk packs for the same SKU when multiple size codes are mapped to a requested size.
There are no warning or error messages.
To work around this issue, purge or discontinue all but one SKU.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After the fix is available, a new global setting called DEDUPE_MULTIPLE_BULK_PACKS is available. The DEDUPE_MULTIPLE_BULK_PACKS global setting specifies whether only one of each size should be used when multiple bulk packs have identical sizes. Refer to the SAS® Size Optimization Administrator's Guide and associated Errata for additional details about this new global setting.
