Problem Note 52602: The value set for the "Maximum number of rows to display" option might be ignored when you open DBMS data in SAS® Enterprise Guide®
SAS Enterprise Guide might ignore the value that you have specified for the option Maximum number of rows to display in the data grid with SAS/ACCESS data. This problem occurs when you open DBMS tables from the SAS Folders window. Specifically, instead of returning the number of rows that you have specified for this option, SAS Enterprise Guide returns all of the rows in the table. This behavior can severely impact performance.
Note: This option is set under Tools ► Options ► Data ► Performance.
Your setting for this option is correctly applied when you open DBMS tables from SAS libraries.
