Problem Note 52558: E-mails might not be successfully broadcasted from SAS® Digital Marketing if the advanced server properties are not correctly set
E-mails might not be successfully broadcasted from SAS Digital Marketing if advanced server properties are not correctly set. You might receive an error such as the following:
"500 Line too long"
You might also experience that e-mails bounce back from hot-mail type e-mail servers. When this happens, you get the following message:
"non-compliant e-mail"
Ensure that the following advanced server properties are set to true in SAS Digital Marketing Studio:
HTMLEscapeSpaces
HTMLEscapeNewLines
EscapeSpaces
EscapeNewLines
To add advanced server properties in SAS Digital Marketing Studio, select Choose Tools ► Server Configuration ► Advanced Server Properties. Highlight any existing property, right-click the property, and select ADD. Enter the new property, set the value to true, select the property, and click Save. Note that the properties are case sensitive. In order for the changes to take effect, you need to restart the SAS Digital Marketing server.
