Problem Note 52336: In SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio, the content of SAS® Digital Marketing broadcasts might fail to display and might not be saved

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, the content of all types of SAS Digital Marketing broadcasts might fail to display and might not be saved. For Short Message Service (SMS) or application service provider (ASP) broadcasts, you might see only the default SMS or ASP content.

When you try to view the content of the broadcast, you might see the following error:

An error occurred while generating the broadcast preview.

The following errors might occur in the SDM_Server log file:

[ERROR] com.sas.email.rmi.service.SDMServiceImpl - An error occurred while generating the broadcast preview
[ERROR] com.sas.email.rmi.service.SDMServiceImpl - Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database

This issue occurs when the recipient table is a SAS® data set and the numeric columns within this list have blank values. The system is incorrectly converting the blank values into null values, which, in turn, generates the exception.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
