Problem Note 52849: The SAS Workspace Server fails and an error is generated when you execute an IOM Direct Interface Stored Process
When you execute an IOM Direct Interface Stored Process, the presence of a carriage return (CR) and a line feed (LF) in the program code can cause the SAS Workspace Server to stop responding or to fail. These problems happen when either the
FlushLog() method or the FlushLogLines() methods are called. The log that is not returned by the method calls is an indicator that the SAS Workspace Server has stopped responding. When this happens, the following exception is generated:
Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentException: The parameter is incorrect. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070057 (E_INVALIDARG))
To correct the problem, remove any empty lines from the program code. You must also remove any empty lines that exist at the end of the program code.
