Usage Note 52761: SAS® closes unexpectedly when you are using the READBUFF= option to read Oracle data using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC in a Windows environment
When you use SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC to access Oracle, SAS might close unexpectedly. The problem occurs when you are accessing Oracle with the Oracle 11.2.x ODBC driver and the READBUFF= and INSERTBUFF= options have values greater than 100.
The cause of this behavior has been identified as a known Oracle issue.
To work around this issue, modify your Oracle ODBC data source configuration by changing the Fetch Buffer Size option (on the Oracle tab) from 64000 to 1024000.
