Problem Note 52705: When you attempt to open a migrated project in SAS® Enterprise Guide®, you might see an error and some project items might be removed
When you open a migrated project into SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1, you might see an error that is similar to this one.
An unknown error occurred while trying to create the project item
with label 'XXXX'. This item has been removed from the project.
This issue can happen if you open your project before SAS Enterprise Guide is connected to a workspace server.
Before you open your project, double-click SASApp or Local in the Server list. This action establishes a connection to a workspace server. When you are connected, you see a green checkmark next to the server that you clicked. At this point, your project should open successfully.
