Problem Note 52603: The KSCAN function becomes unresponsive in a SAS® 9.4 Unicode session

SAS becomes unresponsive indefinitely when you use the KSCAN function in a SAS 9.4 Unicode session. This problem occurs if the input string contains %f6, as shown in the following example:
data test;
alias0='/profile/user/%f6%22%20onmouseover=prompt(123456)%20/?%7c';
alias0=ktrim(kleft(compbl(urldecode(alias0))));
chk1=kindex(lowcase(kscan(alias0,1,'?')),'http');
run;
This problem occurs only with SAS 9.4 Unicode sessions. This problem does not occur with SAS 9.4 in an English session.
