Problem Note 52372: A dimension type code error might occur in the SAS® Financial Management solnsvc_2200_create_dimension job
The solnsvc_2200_create_dimension job might fail with an error similar to the following when it runs in an I18N
environment:
Dimension Type Code error (Value: Account). The value cannot contain more than 32 characters.
The following steps correct this problem:
Update the create_dimension transformation:
- Log on to SAS® Data Integration Studio as the
Solutions Administrator.
- Click the Transformations tab.
- Expand SAS Financial Management.
- Right-click the create_dimension transformation and
select Properties.
- Click the Code Options tab.
- Select Dimension Type Code and then select Edit.
- Click the Prompt Type and Values tab.
- Change the Maximum length value from 32 to 96.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
- If prompted to confirm changes, click Yes.
Update the solnsvc_2200_create_dimension job:
- Click the Folders tab.
- Select Products ► SAS Financial
Management ► 5.4 Jobs.
- Open the solnsvc_2200_create_dimension_job.
- Delete the create_dimension transformation from the job.
- Click the Transformations tab.
- Drag the create_dimension transformation onto the job.
- Close and save the job.
