Problem Note 52331: The Extrapolated Cumulative Claim rate decreases in an Exposure analysis using SAS® Warranty Analysis
When you run the Exposure analysis with the Extrapolated Cumulative Claim Rate method and set MINTISCOUNT to be the same as or greater than the maximum TIS value, the exposure chart decreases even though it is cumulative.
When you run the Trend Control analysis with Extrapolated method, the Trend graph shows a steep drop-off of points, which is misleading.
Neither of these conditions should occur in the analysis results.
